   Make sure you and your recruiter agree on the objectives of the hiring process.

   Be prepared with key elements that define the job description, such as:

   Objectives
     
   Criteria for measuring performance
     
   Major issues that the new hire will address immediately
     
   How many people the new hire will be managing
     
   Current budget of the department
     
   Salary, Bonuses, Incentive Plans, and Benefits

   Provide additional information that your recruiter needs.  Share good and bad, positive and negative aspects of the job, and have no surprises waiting.
